Gabriéla C. Spaapen

As Sinologist Mrs. Spaapen lived and worked for many years in China and knows the Asian market as no other. Within Spaapen & Versteeg she handles all Asian customers and requests for the Asian market. Prior to Spaapen & Versteeg she started and managed a nonprofit organisation specialised in microcredit to help people in third-world countries become self-employed. Before this she worked for the Dutch government (Economic Affairs) where she was responsible for setting up the Netherlands business support operations in China. She assisted many Dutch companies to enter the Chinese market. With her extensive Asian experience, she succesfully builds bridges between markets and cultures.

Sabrina H. Juniet

Mrs. Juniet joined Spaapen & Versteeg in 2000 and heads up the European organisation. She began her career as a licensed stockbroker with MerrillLynch and later started her own investment planning business, where she consulted with individuals and small businesses regarding their financial and investment needs. Additionally, she has worked in corporate and agency communications environments, implementing strategic investor communication programs for numerous companies. As a former stockbroker and business owner, Mrs. Juniet combines financial business insight with an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiastic dedication that offers Spaapen & Versteeg’s clients a fresh perspective and measurable results.

John E. Schwartz

Mr. Schwartz is responsible for the North American market. He joined Spaapen & Versteeg in 1995 and became Partner in 2000. He played a key role in launching and managing our US operations. Mr. Schwartz has an extensive background in international business development and general management. He lived and worked around the globe (New York, San Francisco, Singapore, London, Dubai). Before joining Spaapen & Versteeg, he held several management positions with notable corporate leaders such as Borland, Compaq, HP, SD Group.
