Account Executive - UK
Our client, a new entrant to the UK market, is a leading manufacturer of pre-cast concrete flooring and associated building components. Having established itself as a market leader in its homeland with annual turnover exceeding $40 million euros, it has now acquired a large scale manufacturing plant in Britain, with the infrastructure and resources to break into the highly competitive UK market. In line with this, the company has developed a realistic strategy to achieve its aims. The goal is to attain a significant share of this lucrative market within 4-5 years. There is initially a requirement for 2 Senior Level Account Executives to develop and manage the sales for the new plant; one covering the North of England, the other the South with Birmingham acting as the boundary.
Job Description
As part of its strategic expansion policy, our client has 2 exciting opportunities for experienced and motivated technical sales professionals to develop and manage the companys growth in the UK. This is primarily a new business development role and you must be able to build effective business relationships with specifiers, contractors and developers in order to maximise sales potential. Based from home, you will be responsible for managing the annual sales budget as well as developing effective sales strategies to achieve realistic and attainable business objectives. A strong communicator, you will prove adept at lead generation through networking as well as presenting and negotiating to a successful conclusion at a senior level. This represents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to further their career in a challenging role with genuine prospects for progression.
Candidate Specification
You will be a sales professional with at least 10 years experience in the construction sector, ideally in the area of pre-cast concrete flooring. In addition it is desirable though not essential that the candidate has relevant technical qualifications. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achievement in a commercial environment. A persistent self-starter, you will have strong strategic skills and the desire to take a hands-on approach to deliver results. Technical awareness and aptitude are a perquisite for consideration for the vacancy. In addition, excellent communications skills are of paramount importance.
